As a parent, you’re likely no stranger to the world of LEGO. These colorful building blocks provide endless hours of entertainment however, as any LEGO-loving household knows, with great play comes great mess. From sticky fingers to dusty corners, keeping LEGO clean and tidy is yet another chore to add to the to -do list. But fear not, fellow moms! In this blog post, I’ll be sharing my top tips and tricks for cleaning LEGO quickly and efficiently, so you can spend less time scrubbing and more time building (pun indeeded haha!) memories with your kiddos.

Gentle Soak: For regular maintenance cleaning- fill a sink, tub, or large container with warm, soapy water (I use Branch Basics but you can use any).

Immerse the LEGO pieces: Allow them to soak for at least 15 minutes, then use a soft-bristled brush or cloth to gently scrub away any dirt or grime. Be sure to rinse the pieces thoroughly with clean water afterward to remove soap residue. (If I am feeling lazy, I just soak and don’t scrub each piece).

Air Dry: Once your LEGO pieces are clean, be sure to allow them to air dry completely before storing them away. Lay them out on a clean towel in a single layer to ensure that they dry thoroughly and evenly.
